Lamaze classes prepare you to give birth
with confidence and a sound base of knowledge.
Classes held in the Twin Cities, Northfield, and surrounding areas.

I am currently teaching private childbirth education classes in students' homes. That means you don't have to drive anywhere, and it also means that we can tailor our work to your needs and your strengths. Classes prices start at $120. I can meet you in the Twin Cities on Sunday afternoons, and occasionally other times, and I can meet you in Northfield at a wide variety of times.
During classes, practice hands-on techniques, watch videos, and talk, you might be invited to:
- Look at the stories that have shaped your view of birth and how your view of birth can affect your experience
- Examine the latest research about the benefits and trade-offs medical procedures so you can be an informed healthcare consumer.
- Practice a wide range of effective and natural comfort techniques, which are important "tools" for every birthing mother to have, whether or not she is planning a natural birth.
- Explore concrete ways that partners can be helpful and participate in the labor process.
